Supriya Namdeo was born and brought up in Jabalpur, India, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. After five years working in Mumbai, she married and moved to Gosport with her husband. Together, they built their family business in Bridgemary, creating a valued community hub where residents meet, connect, and share local concerns.
Elected in 2024 to represent Peel Common, Supriya has established herself as a hardworking, approachable, and proactive local representative. She keeps residents informed throughout the year through her In Touch updates and regular engagement across Peel Common.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, she prepared and delivered free home-cooked meals to vulnerable neighbours, demonstrating her belief that leadership is about action.
As a member of the Housing Board at Gosport Borough Council, she actively asks questions and stands up for housing tenants and residents in her ward.
Supriya is committed to protecting local services, supporting community groups and charities, ensuring taxpayers’ money is spent responsibly, and delivering practical solutions that strengthen the local area.
