Government Commits to Turning The Tide On Climate Change

The Government has continued to make further commitments to combat climate change internationally, this week announcing at the UN General Assembly in New York that it will double its investment to developing countries through the UK’s international climate finance (ICF).

A Garden Centre in the Alver Valley has been approved

At the recent Economic Development board it was agreed to lease 5.7 acres of land for use as a garden centre, contracts between the council and the operator due to be signed at the end of September, with a start date in March 2020 and completion by the year-end.
