Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage is calling for local people to get nominating in the British Kebab Awards.
The British Kebab Awards were launched in 2013 and are the first and only of their kind, the annual event celebrates the contribution of the UK’s kebab businesses to the British economy and the achievements of the hard-working people of the UK’s almost 50 year old industry.
The British kebab industry is constantly growing and contributes more than £2.2 billion to Britain’s economy every year. The British Kebab Awards aim to celebrate the best of the industry and improve the public image of the kebab. The awards are sponsored by the UK’s largest takeaway website JUST EAT.
With nominations now open, this is a chance for local people to have a say on which restaurant they think deserves a prestigious British Kebab Award.
Caroline said:
“The contribution that the British kebab industry makes both economically and culturally is worth celebrating, so this is the perfect time to show how much you appreciate your favourite kebab shop by nominating them for the British Kebab Awards.”
Nominations are now open via: www.britishkebabawards.co.uk.
