Local MP, Caroline Dinenage, has revealed the Gosport’s Best Independent Shop!
After receiving over 1000 nominations for over 100 business, the Top 10 businesses went head to head with over 2500 votes being cast.
Indelible Ink have been crowned as Gosport’s Best Independent Shop 2022. With Alverstoke Village Hardware, P&Js Food Ltd and A Slice of Vinyl coming in as Runners Up.

It was fantastic to see so many constituents nominating their favourite small businesses across Gosport, Lee on the Solent, Stubbington and Hill Head.
I want to congratulate all of the business which were nominated in this competition, it shows how much local people appreciate the quality, service and individuality of our independent traders.”
This is the third year that Caroline has run this popular competition, which gives local people the chance to recognise the value of their local traders. It coincides with Small Business Saturday which encourages people to shop small and support local independent businesses.
Previous winners of the Best Independent Shop Competition have been A Slice of Vinyl and Alverstoke Village Hardware.
