Caroline Dinenage, MP for Gosport, this morning helped to launch National School Sport Week at Bridgemary Community Sport College.
In front of a crowd made up of staff, pupils and family from Bridgemary Community Sports College together with representatives from a number of other local schools, Caroline said a few words before asking those present to release their balloons (made up of the colours of the Olympic rings) into the air and declaring National School Sports Week had begun.
Before launching the balloons the crowd had been treated to an impressive demonstration of BMX skills from 17 year old Gosport 2016 Olympic hopeful Ayesha McLelland who is part of the British Cycling’s Olympic Talent Team.
