From today, further restrictions are lifted across the country as England enters Step 3 of the Prime Minister’s Roadmap.
This includes reopening businesses across the Gosport Constituency including indoor hospitality and entertainment, indoor adult sports and classes and accommodation such as hotels, hostels and B&B’s.
Gosport MP, Caroline Dinenage, has been out and about in the constituency visiting local businesses that have been able to reopen their doors since April 12th. This includes Unit 10, Barnet’s Hair and Beauty, the outdoor ‘Trappers’ bar at Gosport Borough FC, The Seahorse, The Boathouse and The Lightship.
Most recently, she went and saw the new exciting extension to Arty’s restaurant and bar at Clarence Marina.
Caroline commented:
“Thanks to the incredible hard work and sacrifices of Gosport constituents, as well as the efforts of our army of vaccinators and volunteers, we are seeing further restrictions lifted as of May 17th.
“I know this will come as a relief to many of our indoor industries and entertainers who are looking forward to welcoming back customers safely.
“I am looking forward to escaping my own cooking and visiting our local businesses and traders over the coming months.”
In addition, 30 people can attend weddings, receptions and wakes. The Rule of 6 means that groups of 6 can meet outdoors, and up to 30 people can meet outdoors.
International travel will also resume under the new ‘traffic light’ system that will grade destination countries based on their perceived risk.
