Local MP, Caroline Dinenage, has today welcomed news that the Government will create a revolution in broadband connectivity.
The Government has today unveiled plans for a £67 million investment fund to award vouchers of £3000 for small and medium sized businesses and £500 for individuals.
The money will be used to pay for the installation of fibre broadband which is faster and more reliable than copper cables. Currently only 3% businesses have access to this super fast broadband.
Commenting Caroline said: “This is great news for local businesses in the Gosport constituency.
Broadband connectivity is vital in today’s market place and this will help our local entrepreneurs to take advantage of new business opportunities.
This will revolutionise broadband speeds right across Gosport, Lee-on-the-Solent, Stubbington and Hill Head.”
