Gosport MP, Caroline Dinenage, has today joined in the many activities on offer at the Gosport Summer Passport Scheme.
Starting last month, activities have been available across Gosport for secondary school age youngsters. Today, Caroline and Cllr John Beavis joined the scheme at Fort Brockhurst, seeing first hand everything from fishing to falconry, driving to laser shooting, tie dye to bronco riding, and all of the other activities on offer.
This year the Summer Passport Scheme received funds from the Government’s Holiday Activities and Food Programme.
Commenting, Caroline said:
‘It was amazing to see just how many different activities were on offer for youngsters in our area and it’s great to see funds from the Government’s HAF programme being put to such good use. A huge well done to Sam and team from GBC and all the other agencies involved in bringing these events together!’
