Local MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed Round 2 of the RBS Skills and Opportunities Fund, which is available to charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges.
RBS launched the fund in May last year as part of their on-going commitment to make a difference in the communities in which they serve. So far, £1.25 million has been awarded to people in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the launch, Caroline said:
“In the Gosport constituency we have an exceptional voluntary sector, which does so much to make our local area a wonderful place to live. This is a great opportunity for local groups to secure the financial support they need to continue their immensely valuable work in our community. I hope local groups will consider putting forward an application.”
